 Training and Support for stringers 

If you have a working interest in what happens when the ball/shuttle meets the racket strings, then the UKRSA can provide the training and support to help your business. The latest ACE magazine has a two-page Q&A supplied by the UKRSA, so grab a copy.
Training courses have been the big success story, with coaches, players, parents and retailers achieving the certificated two-day Professional Stringer award (formerly Club Stringer award) and gaining the skills, knowledge and confidence to tackle any racket servicing task. For those busy people who cannot get way for two days, we offer the special "929" Professional Stringer course, same content but as the title suggests, a very busy 12hrs day!
The Professional Stringer award can lead to the one-day Racket Technician level, where the focus is on advancing the stringing skills and exploring the world of racket customising.
New for 2009 is the Racket Stringing Specialist one-day course, aimed at sports shop staff wishing to launch a stringing service. This certificated course costs £249 and includes free attendance at a Professional Stringer course later on, to gain that higher award.
Courses attendance attracts 12 coaching credits from LTA and TenniscoachUK.

The Professional Stringer course costs £249.00, includes Course CD, free strings, you can bring along your own rackets and you can even take away the machine you have been working on. (after paying for it!)
Course tutors include Liam Nolan, Technical Director UKRSA, Master Racket Technician USRSA and former head of the Bow Brand Wimbledon Stringing Team.
